I have two cars, a Toyota Celica, and a Toyota GT86. As will become clear if you read on, I really love Japanese cars, with a particular affinity for the Toyota brand. I like OEM+ styling, with a big spoiler.
I love TRD parts, and TOM'S parts, other aftermarket parts are good, but those are my favourites.
My 1997 Toyota Celica GT
I acquired my Celica in August 2021, just shy of 150k miles and very neglected. It's a 1997 GT model, so it has the 2L 3SGE engine, front-wheel drive. It had been owned by a guy in north London and used as a runaround. The ULEZ was coming in, and the Celica does not meet the emissions standards required for compliance, so he was keen to get rid of the car. I gave him £1500 and drove it to it's new home.
In the intervening years my father and I have done a lot of work to the car, this includes:
- Multiple wheel replacements and refurbishments - currently on a set of genuine GT-Four 3 spokes that I sourced and restored
- Full ICE refresh, new head unit and speakers
- TRD shift knob
- Original 'hyper sports' floor mats
- Metal 'Celica' door sills from the SS3 model
- BC Racing BR coilovers all round
- TRD wing
- SS3 spats
- Rear window spoiler
- HKS Silent Hi-power exhaust system
- LAILE Beatrush strut bars front and rear
- JDM OEM taillights

My 2013 Toyota GT86 TRD
I bought my GT86 in February 2023, it's a pearl white TRD edition. Limited to around 200 units in the UK, this car has several visual & body tweaks that differentiate it from the non-TRD edition:
- Full TRD bodykit (front & rear lips, and side skirts)
- Diamond cut TRD TF6 wheels
- TRD quad exit exhaust
- Genuine GT86 Aero spoiler - in my opinion the TRD edition should have come with the aero wing from the factory, it really completes the agressive styling
- TOM'S V2 taillights
